Why I built ResellReady
ResellReady is a one-person project. There's no team, no VC round, no support department — just me, building the tool I wished existed while I was reselling sneakers, thrifted vintage, and liquidation pallets myself.
The problem was always the same: figuring out what something is actually worth takes forever if you do it right. You have to check sold listings across eBay, Depop, Poshmark, and StockX, then do the mental math on marketplace fees, payment processing, and shipping before you know if a flip is even worth your time. Most of that math never gets done — people eyeball it, guess, and either overpay at the buy or underprice at the sale.
What ResellReady actually does
It's a price-checking and margin tool for resellers. You look up an item and get a read on recent sold prices across marketplaces, with fees and shipping backed out so you're looking at real net profit, not gross revenue. It also helps with the sourcing side — surfacing wholesale suppliers for pallets and bulk lots — and tracks your inventory and P&L as you buy and sell, so you're not reconstructing your margins from memory or a spreadsheet at tax time.
It's built for general resale, not one niche. Sneakers, vintage clothing, pallet liquidation, general flips — the underlying question is the same ("what will this actually net me after fees?"), so that's what the tool answers, whatever category you're working in.
Where it stands today
I'm still building this. Some features are further along than others, and I'm iterating based on what real usage tells me, not a roadmap I wrote in a vacuum. If something's broken, confusing, or missing, I want to hear about it — reach out and it goes straight to me, not a ticket queue.
